Day 01: Karnak & Luxor Temples.

Our representative will meet you at Safaga Port and take you to Luxor in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, about 3 hours away.

In Luxor, you will visit the fantastic Karnak Temples, the largest and most impressive religious complex ever built. You will marvel at the history and architecture of the temples, from the Middle Kingdom to the Greco-Roman period. You will also see the incredible Hypostyle Hall, a forest of giant columns.

You will continue your tour with a drive to Luxor Temple, a majestic temple that was built by Amenophis III over 5,000 years ago. You will also admire some of the best-preserved artwork in Egypt, depicting scenes of ancient rituals and ceremonies.

You can choose to enjoy an optional tour, a spectacular Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temples, where you will witness the history and glory of the ancient Egyptians. You will spend the night in Luxor.

After breakfast in your hotel, you will cross to the West Bank of the Nile to see the colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon) and the Valley of the Kings, where the splendid tombs of the ancient pharaohs were discovered.

You will explore the tombs, which were carved deep into the desert rock, adorned with beautiful paintings, and filled with treasures for the pharaohs’ afterlife. You will visit three tombs, each with its unique style and story.

You will also visit the Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary, a stunning temple dedicated to the only female pharaoh, Queen Hatshepsut. The temple rises out of the desert in a series of terraces and blends with the limestone cliffs.
After that, you will return to your hotel for a quick check-out and lunch before making the return journey to Safaga and the ship.
