Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt

Your tour manager will meet and assist you upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures), then he will escort you to your hotel in Cairo by an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At hotel the tour manager will assist you with a smooth check-in and review your private budget vacation itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for your tours. Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Tour to Pyramids & Memphis, and Sakkara

You will be picked up from your hotel by Sun Pyramids Tours representative, to enjoy a great excursion to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren and visit to the Valley Temple.
Move to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. Then Proceed to have your lunch at local restaurant. After that transfer to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

Optional Tour: Private Felucca Ride at Nile with Lunch (Nile Pharaoh)

Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and transfer to Nile Pharaoh Felucca dock. Embark the famous Felucca which resembles a pharaonic barge with tribute to ancient Egyptian god Hathor. From the deck you can take panoramic views of Cairo skyline at the evening. Enjoy a sumptuous international lunch with variety of Egyptian cuisine and desserts. A mix of western and oriental music will continue to play in the background. During the sailing, you can enjoy the sunset and the air breeze of the Nile and take in the marvelous glittering sights of Cairo as the boat returns back to the dock. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3: Tour to Egyptian Museum, Citadel, and Coptic Cairo

Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy a visit to the most interesting museum, the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art, considered the world’s largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art. Over 250,000 overwhelming artifacts are presented.

Next, head to the Saladin Citadel, built in 1183. This huge structure protected Cairo from several enemy attacks. Admire the beautiful city views of Cairo and the desert from the citadel. Listen to interesting stories about its construction and history from your guide and visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside the Citadel of Salah El Din.

Proceed to visit old Cairo where you can visit The Hanging Church in Coptic Cairo, Visit the Holy Cave located at Abu Sergha Church, it is the place where the Holy Family stayed during their holy trip.

Day 4: Fly to Aswan – optional tour (Felucca Ride on The Nile in Aswan)

Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick you up to the Cairo airport and our representative in Aswan will be waiting you in the airport after you arrive safely and escort you to the hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle.
You can join our optional tour to enjoy your Felucca Ride in Aswan.
Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan.
Then start sailing in the Nile by the felucca for about one Hour around Elephantine Island and visit the Botanical Gardens, which is rich of its plants that were imported from all over the world In the year of 1899 Lord Kitchener used this Island to be a place where his campaign can rest, and call it the Lord’s house.
After his death, this Island belonged to the ministry of agriculture; from there you will be transferred back to your hotel in Aswan.

Day 5: Day Tour of Aswan, Philae Temple and Obelisk

Enjoy your Aswan Day Tour! Our Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan to enjoy a day tour in the amazing city Aswan.
Start your tour by a visit to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Then proceed to visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks.
Most probably, this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. This queen was the owner of her Temple in the eastern bank of Luxor. In addition, there is an opinion said that it belongs to Queen Nefertiti.
Move on to visit the majestic Philae Temple, which was built on the honor of Goddess Isis the chief deity of the island.
Later you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 6: Trip to Nubian Village by Motorboat

Enjoy your Nubian Village Tour Aswan.
Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to sail on the Nile by a motorboat to the Nubian Village.
It is located on West Bank of the River Nile in Aswan and just opposite to Soheil Island and near the Aswan Dam passing by the First Cataract of Aswan.
This fantastic tour to the Nubian Village lets you meet and impact with a Nubian family and to learn about their simple lifestyle, culture and traditions and then you be transferred back to your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan.

Day 8: Tour to the West Bank in Luxor

Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to discover the West bank of Luxor. Start your day visiting Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley. You will visit 3 tombs except the Tomb of King Tutankhamun.
Move on to enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately from 1490 to 1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Later on you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor

Day 9: Luxor East Bank – fly to Cairo

Start your half day tour, after picking you up from the hotel, to the east bank of Luxor where you will be accompanied by Private Egyptologist guide to visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman Kingdom.
Then move to Luxor Temple. It was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. You will visit also Mut’s tomb during your trip. Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylo after that you will transferred to luxor airport to fly to cairo ,overnight in cairo
