Don't miss the chance to witness the total solar eclipse of August 2, 2027, where Egypt’s ancient devotion to the sun meets a once-in-a-generation celestial spectacle. Across 8 unforgettable days, journey from Cairo’s pyramid skyline to Luxor’s timeless temples, culminating at Karnak Temple as daylight turns to darkness above the sacred land of Ra.
From the moment you arrive at Cairo International Airport, your private solar eclipse journey begins. Your tour manager will welcome you with a personalized meet-and-greet service, holding a sign with your name, before escorting you in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Royal Great Pyramids Inn.
Upon arrival, your tour manager will assist you with a smooth check-in and review your complete 8-day itinerary, confirming the pickup times for your upcoming tours. Settle into your hotel beneath Cairo’s ancient skies as you prepare for a remarkable journey from the land of the pharaohs to the unforgettable total solar eclipse at Karnak Temple in Luxor.
After breakfast, meet your private guide and travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to explore the remarkable legacy of ancient Egypt.
Begin at the Giza Pyramids Complex, the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. Admire the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, monumental structures that have witnessed the sun's movement across Egypt’s skies for thousands of years.
Continue to the Great Sphinx, carved with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, before visiting the Valley Temple. Built from enormous granite blocks, this mysterious structure continues to inspire comparisons with other ancient civilizations and theories about the engineering knowledge of the past.
Enjoy lunch at a selected local restaurant, then proceed with your private guide to Memphis, Egypt’s first ancient capital, founded around 3100 BCE by King Menes near the Nile Delta.
Conclude at Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest monumental stone structure and Egypt’s earliest pyramid. Its design marked the beginning of the architectural journey that later produced the great pyramids of Giza.
After the tour, return comfortably to your hotel, carrying your first glimpse into a civilization that built monuments in harmony with the sun and the heavens.
