Day 1 :

our guide will greet you at your hotel in Aswan. You’ll be whisked away in a private, air-conditioned vehicle for a two-hour drive north to Edfu.
Upon arrival in Edfu, prepare to be awestruck by the majestic Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus.
This temple, considered by many to be the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, is steeped in ancient myths. It was here that Horus, the falcon-headed god, avenged his father Osiris’s murder by slaying Seth.

As you explore, savor a lunch, included for your comfort. Then, continue your tour to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, marvel at the Temple of Kom Ombo, perched high above the Nile. This temple is unique, boasting a double entrance, each dedicated to a different divinity: Haroeris, with his falcon head, and Sobek, with his crocodile head.

The Temple of Kom Ombo was built to honor these two deities: Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris, the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Kom Ombo is also renowned for its vast sugarcane fields.
